First picture is how I changed it in photoshop, and the second picture is the orginal picture. I think it looks a little better.

Photo Fun today

Spent the day with my camera today and two great friends. Kasey shared some knowledge about photography. Need to keep picking her brain..... After gathering and shooting pics in the cold we had lunch together. I then went to go get my garage door open that I left in the Dodge that we sold last week. Can you say stupid.

Yeah! Can you say blurred background (aperture, I did it) still need more practice. Maybe tomorrow I can try pictures with Sara Jane.......

Next I need practice with photoshop....

Played today with my camera

I played today with the camera, but need to work much more on understanding the settings. I am only going to share the one from today. The others are from last weekend. Theme is artistic nude.

Not really good at photoshop and need to get Gimp loaded on my desktop. But I used an online tool called Picnik, not to bad.

A New Start

My friend Kasey has given me the opportunity to purchase her Nikon D40. (She purchased a nicer one). I use to use a Canon Rebel when I taught and worked on the yearbook. I loved this camera and always wanted one of my own, well that day has come. It will be a challenge for me to stick to the theme, but I will try. What a theme for my first month. I may cheat and add some for the January theme too.
